Claudia is a movement educator with a degree in Dance Movement Therapy. Certified Early Childhood Education Practitioner, Dance,Yoga and Fitness Certified Instructor. She is also a Children and Senior Fitness Specialist, Rhythm Works Integrative Dance certified instructor and certified in Essentials of Massage and bodywork. Certified Life Coach. Choreographer since 1997. Born and raised in Mexico city. She has studied in Mexico, the United Kingdom and the U.S. Teaching Dance and Movement since 1994. Her 25 years of experience as an Instructor, her personal experience with special needs population and her Spanish native language heritage, have led her passion to create, teach, coach and share with the people around her, -all ages- all needs- a new way to learn and understand their own abilities through movement. She teaches Modern dance, Lyrical, Jazz, Movement therapy, Yoga, Dance for special needs, Dance workouts, and bilingual programs. She has participated and directed numerous recitals, events and performances since 1994. In 2001, she was chosen to play a role as a Belly dancer in the Metro- Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) film called "Original Sin", starring Angelina Julie & Antonio Banderas. She has volunteered at the Oak Harbor WA School District, teaching movement, Spanish and bilingual programs since 2009. She has volunteered/worked at the City's Whidbey Playhouse collaborating and co-choreographing musical theater local productions: "Spamalot" 2015, "Pirates of Penzance" 2015, "South Pacific" 2016, "Beehive" 2017, and "The Producers" 2018. She offers different programs through the year to the Skagit region public libraries (Sno-Isle Libraries) and dance/fitness programs at Retirement Centers in the community. She is a member of the local PRIME TIME Humanities Washington team in Oak Harbor SnoIsle library, working in conjunction with OH School District in a literacy family program.
She volunteers and collaborates with the non-profit organizations: Positively linked, YOUTHnited, Whidbey Has Talent (WHT), NorthWest Language Academy Cultural Center (NWLACC) and PAMI (Spanish Speaking families with special need children) in Oak Harbor and Whidbey Island Wa.
She is the founder of BLIMP -Bilingual Integrated Learning Movement-Program based in cultural/movement/music education. Founder of "Cross-cultural World in motion" program offering support and information about language/multiculturalism/cultural intelligence to families and students. And Integrative Practices, where she offers support and coaching to groups and individuals through movement, meditation, and instrospection on-line and in seat.
She is also an Oak Harbor's SnoIsle Library Board Member and member of Soroptimist International in Oak Harbor.

Miguel, Navy Veteran with an Associates of Science degree in Electronics and a Bachelors degree in International Business Management. He is a an Entrepreneur by nature. An enthusiast in Astronomy, History, Geography, Languages, Arts, Culture, Soccer and Education. He has five yrs of experience as a children soccer coach, and 23 years of business experience and administration. Daunne has been dancing since she was eight years old, first starting with Ballet and then moving into Jazz. She taught Jazz Dance briefly in the mid 70’s. After a 30-year career in Construction Management, she retired and obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance from the University of Washington. Since that time she has taught a variety of dance classes on Whidbey Island, including Jazz, Tap, Creative Movement and Choreography Workshops.
She teaches several types of water aerobics classes and various Zumba classes on Whidbey Island and Seattle. She has been a choreographer for Whidbey Playhouse in Oak Harbor since 2008 and was recently selected to choreograph for Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley. Daunne owns a Bachelor of Arts Degree with minors in Dance and Music – University of Northern Colorado 1976 – Dance specialties :Luigi jazz, Graham Modern, Contact Improvisation and Choreography. She played Chorus dancer and soloist for Black Arts West, dance company of Black Arts West Theatre Group. Seattle, WA 1974-75. She was a Jazz instructor for Experimental College, University of Washington 1976-78. She owns a Master’s Degree in Public Administration – University of Washington 1981.
